Spectrum signs and graphics
My expertise at Spectrum Marketing lies in me being a a large format graphic designer as well as a print designer. I manage the workflow of signs projects and coordinate with other designers to ensure smooth project execution. In the section of my portfolio I am showcasing specifically my ADA work. This is something that I process most and have the most fun producing. Below are some of my favorite projects I have had the pleasure of producing.
Here technology
Here Technology seeked a rigid almost futuristic look to fit their companies modern and tech look.
The lake estate
Lake Estate was seeking a high end look for their new hotel. This allowed the team to experiment with materials we normally would not use.
The wayfinding and ADA signs were constructed using a Chemetal (#620 Civilization Aluminum) as the face that was applied to the PVC backer, giving them this high end class look that matched their space.
Individual room numbers were painted to be simple and almost blend into the space, guiding the patrons to their rooms but not taking away from the space overall.
Child advocacy center
Child Advocacy Center was seeking a creative and welcoming set of signage for their interior. These signs needed to fit their branding as well as fit their current donor signage that we had produced for them. This was a welcomed creative challenge, that left the customer satisfied. This was a ADA set I personally had a lot of fun doing as it challenged me creatively to find solutions that were both compliant, and compelling to adults and children.
Village on Technology Hill
Village on Technology Hill was looking for several design concepts in order to get a direction. At this time they did not have many ideas which left the creative challenge of incorporating current pieces such as their exterior signage.
My favorite concept to produce was option 2, showcasing the way that we can layer different materials, while remaining compliant. There was lots of dynamic solutions to ADA that can incorporate logos and texture in new and exciting ways. I believe that option best shows that ability and balance of function and aesthetic.
