This poster was made as a way to explore poster design through the feel of a bands music.
I decided to capture these feelings through color as well as illustration.
abba is a band i hold close to my heart.
As a young girl I grew up watching Mamma Mia with my parents. Every song made you want to stomp your feet and sing along. The impact of their music and their brightness was a feeling I wanted to capture with my gig poster.

A vinyl design was the natural conclusion for this piece. Transferring their vibrancy was an easy task and I took inspiration from the existing work I created, as well as the existing vinyl's that Abba has produced.
