the design was done using 1/4” clear acrylic with 2nd surface printed graphics, installed on 1/2” depth standoffs. To have the hand show on the bubble and create the effect that the child was blowing the bubbles, the bubble wand was applied first surface using 3M480 and printed to match the child which was 1/4” clear acrylic as well, mounted flush to the wall.

Each donor bubble shown is removable making the design changeable as donors update, this was achieved using 6mm styrene and velcro.
